Ruth Gomez
Ruth studied percussion and composition at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and was supported in her composition studies by the Mercers' Company. She enjoys performing anything from rock drum kit to orchestral percussion. Music she has written has been performed at venues including London's Wigmore Hall and Wilton's Music Hall. Songs written by her have also received airplay on radio stations such as Radio One and London’s XFM and one of her songs was once ‘Song of the Week’ on Steve Lamacq’s Radio One session.
